The Beach at North Captiva Island was unlinke anything I had ever experienced. It reminded us of the beach from Castaway. There were several days where we had the ENTIRE beach to ourselves! It is not touristy AT all. Since it is not touristy, it is not combed every night like the beaches in Destin or on major resorts...Therefore, they are not pristine and clean in the sense that there is seaweed from the tide, shells, etc. It is a natural beach and we loved it!
The I "Heart" List: Shells. Long walks on the beach. Floating in the ocean. Attempting cheerleading stunts with Katy in the water. Handstand contests. My playlist: Maroon 5, Adele, and Florence & The Machine. Quiet crashing waves. Peace. Wind in my hair. Baby crabs. Relaxing with no plans. Feeling the sun on my skin. Taking naps. The feeling of my feet under the sand. The sound of laughter as Logan/ my sister read Bossypants.
