One of my many projects this week has been going through my Mom's back porch and all of our "Keepsake" boxes. It was time we did some purging and figured out what to keep vs. what to throw out.
Here are some of the treasures we ran across. (Some for a good laugh!)
My ENTIRE Frog Collection (The below is not even scraping the surface of the extent of it!)
All the yard signs from my cheerleading days!
Gymnastics plaques
LOTS of old photos sporting my classy MULLET from the 90's :)
Can I please re-create this into big girl size? Such a cutie bite sized sweatshirt
New(er) blankie and ORIGINAL blankie
My Jennifer box (me and my childhood best friend would store our treasures in our "Secret boxes" )
OH THE DIARIES... please read and enjoy. The below was from 2nd grade.
Apparently by 5th Grade I dropped the "Dear Diary" and went straight for "Dear J.T.T."
My entry to the Cultural Arts Fair... quite interesting.
Glamour Shots!
My teenie tiny gymnastics uniform!
My Girl Scout uniform... clearly, I was an over-achiever.
My very first sewing project: A quilt I made with my Mammaw.
Junk Food t-shirts??? Anyone remember driving to WACO to get these?
Why did I feel the need to keep my butterfly retainer? (No worries, that got thrown away)
Newborn nightie
What I wore when Katy was born
Some old RANGERS baseball cards from 1993... bottom left = Nolan Ryan. Probably worth something now!
Before Blogging, I filled every single one of these suckers up with juicy details spanning from high school right up to 1 week before meeting Logan!
I am about 1/2 way through everything... who knows what the next box will bring :)
We have made some HUGE progress this week... 13 days to go! Hope everyone is having a Happy Hump Day!
