On SUNDAY, I had another baby shower for Stella thrown by Aunt Katy, Aunt Lindsay, and Aunt Kerri. I didn't know how it could get any cuter than Saturday, but sure enough they blew me away! Yet again, every single room was filled with thoughtful details and surprises. Sadly, Lindsay wasn't able to experience the fruit of her labor because she came down with a bad virus... she was for SURE missed and her creativity was behind many of the below details!
Door wreath: Kerri made this and claims it was really simple to make... I want to try to make one here in France! Isn't it so cute?
Decor: Lindsay made those adorable letters that I brought back to France with me so we could hang them in the nursery!
The clothesline that hung below them was filled with adorable little outfits... many of which I wished they carried in my size! (I spy red skinny jeans!)
The dining room was decorated from floor to ceiling... literally! My sister Katy thought of the balloon idea. Each string had pictures attached from when we told our family in Dallas that we were expecting, my weekly bump pictures, and the various announcements we've posted. This was arguably my favorite detail of the whole shower! It was so fun to look at all the pictures :)
The table was set with a personalized cupcake tower, yummy pink sprinkled pretzels, the cutest fabric (Wish I had seen it when picking out the nursery fabric!), and other thoughtful details.
The activity was the same as the friends shower. We had some extra pages and we thought it would be really fun to have family fill out the very same questions. My grandmother even spent time filling one out... what a treasure that will be someday!
The kitchen was decked out in PINK!!! I loved all the lanterns hung by the window.
The punch was amazing and all the finger foods were delicious.
Is this not the cutest? That's some hotel... somewhere... and I want to go just to take pictures!
Even the cups had "Stella Sangria" written on them... it was adorable!
Don't worry, Mommy had punch... sadly....
If that wasn't enough, we even had Little Miss Frenchy WATER BOTTLES!!! I was blown away when I saw them... so incredibly thoughtful and cute!
An insert on the shower invitation asked all guests to bring a book along with their gift to start "Stella's Stories" - I am so happy to have these books (in ENGLISH) with personalized notes in the front of each one. Really special.
Kelley (Mimi) made the favors. They were little Hersheys kisses that she had glued little pictures to the bottom of. It was SO sweet and probably very time consuming. Everyone LOVED them!
The wonderful hostesses all dressed in pink! We didn't even plan to coordinate :) We missed you Lindsay!
Thank you to my sisters for the incredibly FUN family shower. I loved every single thing about it! I am so humbled by all the love, effort, and thought that went into planning it. I feel like a very lucky lady... Stella is one loved little one! We love you guys very, very much :)
