Here are some pictures from our day :)
We started off walking around Montmartre (our favorite Parisian neighborhood), eating lunch in a cafe, and doing a bit of shopping.
We then strolled over to the Eiffel Tower for some photo opps!
And we ended our day trip with Notre Dame.
Our girl is STILL sleeping through church ;) haha!
It was a wonderful way to top off the past 2 years... That Eiffel Tower is so symbolic in our relationship... we have pictures of us there when we were dating, newly married, pregnant with Stella, and now WITH Stella. Is this really my life?!?!? I am so blessed.
We have a photo of our girls in that exact same spot in front of the Eiffel Tower from the first day we moved to Paris. We got engaged at the top too. We never imagined then that we would end up living in Paris with FOUR kids!!! Sorry we missed you while you were in Paris, now I'll have to come and visit you in Texas ;) Good luck to you all in your new home.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photo memories!! I know as Stella gets older she will be telling all of her friends...I've been to the Eiffel tower!!...ha, ha - The first trips are always so great! Even if she doesn't remember, the photos will hold a great place in her heart! For my girls New York City was the big place to go as a child, so when my oldest had an opportunity to go with me when she was 8 - she was thrilled and to this day still has her pictures up in her room of the First visit!!
